“…In order to explore the electrochemical properties of the films, CV tests are carried out at a scan rate of 50 mV s –1 in a voltage range of −0.8 to 0.8 V. As depicted in Figure a, it can be observed that WO 3 -70 and WO 3 -CC exhibit larger areas of voltammograms than WO 3 -400, indicating that more active units in WO 3 -70 and WO 3 -CC could effectively participate in the oxidation–reduction reaction and more ions can be stored in the active material during the EC process . Moreover, in comparison to WO 3 -400, WO 3 -70 and WO 3 -CC display a faster current change rate and larger current density, revealing a faster ion-diffusion rate in these films.…”

“…The solar light passing through WO 3 can be regulated in amplitude and energy due to the adjustable bandgap by varying the crystalline structure and oxygen stoichiometry. [68][69][70][71][72][73] As shown in Figure 3a, when the oxygen vacancies in WO 3 NPs increased from WO 3 to WO 2.92 , WO 2.83 , WO 2.72, and WO 2 , transmittance in the VIS region decreased along with a blue-shift of the absorption peak. [74] This is in accordance with a later report [63] Copyright 2011, American Chemical Society.…”
