Abstract:In this research, pure and Cu(II)‐doped TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized via a simple and nontoxic approach to fabricate a nanocatalyst for the oxidative sonophotocatalytic degradation of phenol. TiO2 NPs were prepared using a solvothermal method and doped with Cu(II) by high‐energy planetary ball mill. The as‐synthesized NPs were identified and characterized by X‐ray diffraction, energy‐dispersive X‐ray, and transmission electron microscopy techniques. The doped NPs were used for the first time in po… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
