Current and Emerging Uses of Statins in Clinical Therapeutics: A Review

Abstract: Statins, a class of cholesterol-lowering medications that inhibit 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl-coenzyme A reductase, are commonly administered to treat atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
