Abstract:The eastern part of Java Island is a prone area with high seismic potential. Geologically, the seismicity in this area is dominated by the subduction zone in southern Java, reverse faults structure in the north extending along east to west part of Java Islands, and normal faults in Pasuruan and Probolinggo.
