Abstract:Sudden cardiac arrest remains a relevant problem with a significant number of deaths worldwide. Although survival rates have more than tripled over the last 20 years (4% in 2001 vs. 14% in 2020), survival rates with good neurological outcomes remain persistently low, representing a major socioeconomic problem.
