Abstract

The main objective of this study was to evaluate the time-course of the effects of farinfrared (far-IR) emitting fabric (made in the form of pants) on neuromuscular responses (Peak Torque, Total Work, and Fatigue index) of extension and flexor muscles of the knee in voluntary contractions of resistance-trained men. As a secondary objective, to verify whether far-IR would influence the semen quality of the same individuals. The study was divided into two phases: phase 1 and phase 2 (neuromuscular and fertility).
