Abstract:2D crystals with the coexistence of remarkable charge separation and visible light absorption are interesting for photovoltaic applications. Herein, a new 2D hybrid structure, namely, CuTe2Cl monolayer, with the coexistence of remarkable charge separation and visible light absorption, is determined.
