Abstract:We introduce a construction which allows us to identify the elements of the skeletons of a CW-complex P (m) and the monomials in m variables. From this, we infer that there is a bijection between finite CWsubcomplexes of P (m), which are quotients of finite simplicial complexes, and certain bigraded standard Artinian Gorenstein algebras, generalizing previous constructions of Faridi and ourselves. We apply this to a generalization of Nagata idealization for level algebras. These algebras are standard graded Art… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
