Cytochemical and morphological changes in cerebral neurons induced by δ-sleep peptide

Abstract: Small neurons prone to chromophilia, with protein production decreased to 40%, were found in layer V of the sensorimotor cortex of rats with emotional fear induced by antistress 6-sleep peptide. These changes point to sedative effect of 5-sleep peptide in a stimulated focus.
