Abstract:The treetop bark beetle (Ips typographus) is the main pest of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) in Europe in general and in Ukraine in particular. It affects the phloem (inner bark) of trees, disrupting the supply of nutrients, which can lead to the death of pine plantations, especially young or weakened ones [1].
