Data-Driven Comparison of Companies' Ability to Innovate

Abstract

The improvement of companies' innovation capability is one of their foremost strategic objectives. To achieve this goal, companies allocate significant resources. Analyzing the current situations of companies and controlling for the enhancement of innovation capabilities based on this analysis ensures the efficient utilization of resources. Companies should focus on improving their innovation capability while also concentrating on how to elevate their innovation maturity levels. This focus will guarantee leadership in the industry and exports in the future. In this study, the innovation capabilities of four companies operating in different sectors are compared. Additionally, the innovation maturity levels of the companies are determined. The companies operate in the information technology, food, plastic, and aviation sectors. Significant differences in innovation capabilities among the companies have been observed. To determine these differences, the Mann-Whitney U test is conducted.
