Data for factor analysis of hydro-geochemical characteristics of groundwater resources in Iranshahr

Abstract: Detection of Hydrogeological and Hydro-geochemical changes affecting the quality of aquifer water is very important. The aim of this study was to determine the factor analysis of the hydro-geochemical characteristics of Iranshahr underground water resources during the warm and cool seasons. In this study, 248 samples (two-time repetitions) of ground water resources were provided at first by cluster-random sampling method during 2017 in the villages of Iranshahr city. After transferring the samples to the labor… Show more

“…Using factor analysis, four hydrogeochemical characteristic factors from samples in the study area were employed to describe the eco-environmental influence on the chemical composition of groundwater and surface water [52] by the Diaoyushan MSW landfill, human activities, surface domestic sewage and agricultural fertiliser. The dominant condition that constrained the groundwater environment of the study area was the Diaoyushan MSW landfill (>49.18%), followed by domestic sewage in villages, application of agricultural fertiliser in croplands, and the occurrence regularity of the original geologic elements in groundwater.…”

“…1 Standards set for the concentration of fluoride in drinking water by various organizations are different. The differences are associated with seasonal changes [6] . Factors affecting the standard concentration of fluoride ions in drinking water have a direct relationship with air temperature and water consumption per capita [7] , [8] , [9] .…”
