Decelerating chirped soliton formation at femtosecond laser pulse propagation in a medium with one-photon absorption and gold nanorods

Abstract: We demonstrate the possibility of decelerating chirped soliton formation at  femtosecond pulse propagation in a medium with gold nanoparticles. We take into account the dependence of one-photon absorption on the nanorod aspect ratio and time-dependent nanorod aspect ratio changing due to nanorod reshaping because of laser energy absorption.
