The aim of the research was to enhance the selection for the process plant equipment supplier based on their country of origin in the gold mining project using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The research also intended to investigate how AHP could further enhance the process of the project. The steps for modeling the AHP were identifying the hierarchy by the project team, constructing the AHP model, and calculating the weight for supplier selection. The research object was a gold mining company based in Indonesia. The schedule and resources were calculated, followed by a survey to evaluate the AHP process. After modeling and calculating using AHP, it is found that the three highest criteria for selecting the process plant equipment suppliers are running capacity (14,3 %), efficiency (9,9%), and endurance (9,7%). The overall scores for each supplier show that supplier from United States (25,87%) is in the first rank. It is followed by Germany (25,80%) and Australia (25,20%). Moreover, AHP is proven to enhance the process by not only reducing the time of decision-making for two days but also increasing the resource by almost 23%. Based on the survey to the project team, AHP increases the involvement of the project team in the decision-making process and shows that more than 80% of the project team agrees with the decision. The survey also reveals that almost 63% of the project team decides to use the same tools for the decision-making process.

Determining sets of criteria and alternatives becoming main priorities is essential to guarantee the success of innovation adoption of Information System (IS) security. The goal of this research was to select and determine important entities as representation of each criterion for managers in making decisions of innovation adoption of IS security. This research applied Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) Framework, and Human-Organization-Technology-Fit (HOT-Fit) Model to map relative importance variables of criteria and alternatives. AHP Approach was applied for computation simulation to determine priorities of criteria and alternatives. Results show that a principal criterion is manpower of organizations. The eigen factor score is 4.398. Moreover, alternatives covering complexity, financial resources, intensity of competition, and CIO innovativeness have these respective eigen factors scores: 4.326, 9.307, 4.376, and 4.545.

E-Commerce merupakan representasi model bisnis baru dengan menyediakan kemudahan kepada masyarakat melakukan transaksi dengan jangkauan perniagaan yang lebih luas, kesempatan membangun mitra bisnis, tidak membutuhkan investasi dan biaya operasional yang besar. Namun melakukan adopsi E-Commerce bukan persoalan sederhana karena sampai saat ini pertumbuhan E-Commerce di Indonesia baru mencapai 6%. Kenyataan ini tidak terlepas dari ketidakmampuan mengambil keputusan strategis mengadopsi E-Commerce. Penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis organisasi dan yang menjadi responden adalah pihak manajemen dan pengelola E-Commerce untuk wilayah Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik sampel acak sederhana dengan skala likert dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 118 responden. Selanjutnya diteruskan dengan melakukan kegiatan wawancara secara mendalam dengan beberapa responden terpilih dalam sebuah kelompok secara bersama-sama menggunakan teknik sampel purposif melalui aplikasi sosial media (Whatsapp). Tujuan penelitian untuk memilih dan menentukan kriteria yang menjadi prioritas utama dan entitas (alternatif) paling penting sebagai keterwakilan dari setiap kriteria berdasarkan model adopsi E-Commerce menggunakan metode AHP. Hasil penelitian dengan kriteria paling penting adalah kelayakan teknologinya dengan dimensi keunggulan relatif, biaya dan agen perubah eksternal.
