Deep Neck Infection With Thyroid Abscess by Esbl-Producing Klebsiella Pneumoniae: An Unusual Case

Abstract: Thyroid abscess is a rare clinical condition. A prompt diagnosis is important because it may progress rapidly into a life-threatening condition. The common causative organisms responsible for thyroid abscess are Staphylococci and Streptococci species.
