Abstract: Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) achieves excellent signal-to-noise ratios by measuring the amplitude of the electric field in the time-domain, resulting in the full, complex, frequency-domain information of materials' optical parameters, such as the refractive index.
