Abstract:AMPylation is an emerging post-translational modification that occurs on the hydroxyl group of threonine, serine, or tyrosine via a phosphodiester bond. AMPylators catalyze this process as covalent attachment of adenosine monophosphate to the amino acid side chain of a peptide.
