Defeasibility, Law, and Argumentation: A Critical View from an Interpretative Standpoint

Abstract: The phenomenon of defeasibility has long been a central theme in legal literature. This essay aims to shed new light on that phenomenon by clarifying some fundamental conceptual issues.
