Defender or Attacker? An Approach to Dynamic Sustainability in the Dynamic Business Climate of Rural Tourism

The utilisation of digital technologies to modify business models and generate fresh avenues for revenue and value creation has been acknowledged as a prominent factor. Consequently, it becomes evident that substantial transformation is imperative to effectively realise the ultimate objective of establishing digital enterprises. The issue of digitalization is predominantly an administrative concern rather than a technical one. This article focuses on the aspects that contribute to the enhancement of customer satisfaction in online shopping within China, during the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent recovery phase. Online buying has become a prevalent trend among consumers in recent times due to its inherent convenience. The researcher developed a conceptual framework in this study and intends to examine the correlation between seven variables: security, information availability, shipping, quality, pricing, time, and consumer satisfaction in the context of online purchasing. The framework has the potential to be utilized for future research and to make a valuable contribution to the existing body of information on emerging digital business models.

Sustainable rural development is critical to a country's economic, social, and environmental viability. Coordination of rural development programs that contribute to sustainable livelihoods at the global, regional, national, and local levels is therefore vital, and there is much to be gained. Rural development strategies should consider the remoteness and potential of rural areas and provide targeted, diversified approaches. Therefore, this research emphasizes the implementation of village fund policies to empower village communities in Deli Serdang Regency, Indonesia. The research objectives are to discuss several issues, which are: (1) the implementation of village fund policies in empowering village communities; (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation; and (3) the development of a conceptual model for the implementation. This research is using qualitative research, which involves as many as seven informants, as determined by the snowball technique. Secondary data collection using literature studies; primary data collection using interview and observation techniques; and data analysis using the descriptive analysis, which was developed by triangulation observers’ analysis. The result of this research contributed to the new body of knowledge about the change management strategy that is needed in various organizations, and generated a new conceptual model called resource management collaboration with six dimensions: (1) regulatory functions; (2) supervisory functions; (3) development functions; (4) service functions; (5) empowerment functions; and (6) intergovernmental relations functions. This model will play a significant role in managing community resources and village governance in Deli Serdang district specifically and in Indonesia generally.

In this day and age, with the process of globalisation still in progress and dynamic change occurring in firms, it is essential to preserve the organisational culture by guiding it in the appropriate direction in order to achieve business sustainability. However, modern organisations require leaders more than ever since their focus is almost exclusively on short-term gains at the expense of any consideration of the future. To effectively navigate the business environment and meet the needs of its customers, leadership is an indispensable instrument. As a result of all of these changes, it is abundantly evident that the leaders who run firms confront major challenges when attempting to adapt to the new conditions. The purpose of this article is to set out to do two things: create a map of the leadership research landscape and make a contribution to the refinement of a conceptual model based on that landscape. Contingency or situational theory has been proposed to support the whole body of study. Any future study topic or scenario variables may be incorporated into the suggested framework. It will be a significant factor in the continued success of Indonesian enterprises.
