Dehiszenzsyndrome

Abstract: The more severe the vestibular symptoms, the better the outcome of surgical therapy. Auditory symptoms (nonspecific aural fullness, hyperacusis) do not generally respond well to surgical therapy. Cochlear implants have an additional beneficial effect; comorbidities should be considered as (relative) contraindications.
