Demonstration of an Algorithm for Quantum State Generation in Polarization-Encoding QKD Systems

Abstract: We experimentally demonstrate a polarization-state generation algorithm using off-the-shelf components. The method was implemented using a laboratory QKD testbed running for 21 hours with an average QBER of 1.8%.
