Demystifying quantum blockchain for healthcare

Abstract: The application of blockchain technology can be beneficial in the field of healthcare as well as in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. In this work, the importance of blockchain is analyzed and it is observed that blockchain technology and the processes associated with it will be utilised in the healthcare systems of the future for data acquisition from sensors, automatic patient monitoring, and secure data storage. This technology substantially simplifies the process of carrying out operations because i… Show more

“…The studies also examined the development and application of UAV technology in pandemic situations, assessing its role in enhancing the resilience and responsiveness of healthcare systems [68][69][70]. Research also delved into integrating emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain, to improve the management and distribution of medical resources during health crises [71,72].…”

“…This system can help protect data from tampering and unauthorised access, while enabling users to control who has access to their data. [67][68][69] Blockchain technology therefore enables privacy and security critical to health-related data sets. In addition, some aspects of quantum computing (specifically quantum information processing) can be used to secure data in two combinable ways.…”
