Abstract: Background: Dengue fever (DF) is a mosquito-transmitted disease caused bythe dengue virus, an enveloped, single stranded RNA virus of flaviridae family. DF is widelydistributed in many countries of southeast and southern Asia, Central and South America, andthe Western Pacific regions.
