Der Einfluß der Nüchterung auf den Stoffwechsel der freien Aminosäuren verschiedener Gewebe des Broilers

Abstract: 16 male broiler chicken fed with commercial-grade broiler fattening feed were killed in groups of four in intervals of 3, 6, 12 and 25 hours after the last food intake. The content of free amino acids was quantitatively determined in the small intestines, the liver and the complete muscular system. The highest concentration of free amino acids per gram of tissue could be detected in the small intestines between 3 and 6 hours and--phase shifted--in the liver between 6 and 12 hours after the last food intake.
