DES-Based Solution for Regenerating Diesel Particulate Filters of Euro V/VI Diesel Vehicles †

Abstract: A diesel particulate filter (DPF) can remove the diesel particulate matter from the incomplete combustion exhaust gases of diesel engine vehicles. The regeneration process of DPF is critical since the cost of the DPF/catalytic system for Euro 5/6 Diesel Cars has been calculated as half of the cost of the whole engine of the car.
