Desflurane with Isoflurane under low flow anaesthesia: A prospective randomized clinical comparative trial

Abstract: 100 healthy patients of either sex scheduled for routine surgeries, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II, age 20-60 years, and hemoglobin more than 10 g/dL were include in this study. Patients were randomly allocated to two groups. Group I received desflurane as the inhalational anesthetic agent with minimal flow anesthesia (n=50).
