Design and Computational Analysis of Dual Core Photonic Crystal Fiber Temperature Sensor based on Surface Plasmon Resonance

Abstract: This paper present dual core photonic crystal fiber temperature sensor in terms of wavelength sensitivity. The high temperature coefficient liquid and plasmonic material are deposited outer layer of the PCF to make the fabrication easier than existed optical sensor. Besides, the coupling phenomenon is studied. The Matlab environment as well as the finite element method (FEM) are used to demonstrate the sensor performance.
