Studies that require environmental measurements often struggle with the cost of monitoring equipment. Costs will increase as more variables are required. Thus, scientists have been increasingly relying on Arduino systems to overcome such a challenge. This paper aims to review the literature on the use of Arduino as a viable measurement tool in indoor comfort research. For this purpose, the results from three databases were compared: Web of Science, Scopus and ScienceDirect. Results from the Scopus search were then analyzed using VOSViewer according to three questions: (1) what is the state of the art and trends using Arduino; (2) how is Arduino being used in indoor environments; and (3) which are the main authors using the system and what are the most cited Arduino-related sources. The maps showed that the system is very versatile and offers the opportunity to strengthen multidisciplinary approaches.

IoT has played an essential role in many industries over the last few decades. Recent advancements in the healthcare industry have made it possible to make healthcare accessible to more people and improve their overall health. The next step in healthcare is to integrate it with IoT-assisted wearable sensor systems seamlessly. This review rigorously discusses the various IoT architectures, different methods of data processing, transfer, and computing paradigms. It compiles various communication technologies and the devices commonly used in IoT-assisted wearable sensor systems and deals with its various applications in healthcare and their advantages to the world. A comparative analysis of all the wearable technology in healthcare is also discussed with tabulation of various research and technology. This review also analyses all the problems commonly faced in IoT-assisted wearable sensor systems and the specific issues that need to be tackled to optimize these systems in healthcare and describes the various future implementations that can be made to the architecture and the technology to improve the healthcare industry.

<span lang="EN-US">The recent advances in electronics and microelectronics devices allow the development of newly low-cost monitoring tools used by peoples for health preventive purposes. Sensors used in medical equipments convert various forms of human body vital signs into electrical signals. Therefore, the healthcare monitoring systems considering non-invasive and wearable sensors with integrated communication mediums allow an efficient solution to live a comfortable home life. This paper presents the remote monitoring of human body temperature (HBT) wirelessly by means of Arduino controller with different sensors and open source internet connection. The proposed monitoring system uses an internet network via wireless fieldity (wifi) connection to be linked with online portal on smart phone or computer. The proposed system is comprised of an Arduino controller, LM-35 (S1), MLX-90614 (S2) temperature sensors and ESP-wifi shield module. The obtained result has shown that real time temperature monitoring data can be transferred to authentic observer by utilizing internet of things (IoT) applications. The findings from this research indicates that the difference of average temperature in between Sensor S1 and S2 is about 15 <sup>0</sup>C</span>
