“…In line with prior studies that focus on the role of blockchain in promoting supply chain traceability (Hastig and Sodhi, 2020; Casino et al , 2021), we find that supply chain digitalization can enhance supply chain traceability as well as supply chain agility. Much of the previous literature on supply chain agility and traceability has been done in the context of Western/developed countries (Dhaigude and Kapoor, 2017; Rejeb et al , 2020; Huang et al , 2011; Sodhi and Tang, 2019). Consistent with their findings, this study shows that supply chain agility and traceability are positively related to performance improvement in China, which indicates that the conclusions of this study have some generalizability in a sense.…”
