Designing Tough Hydrogel Shells for Glucose Sensing

Abstract: Conventional hydrogel microcapsules often suffer from inadequate mechanical stability, hindering their use. Here, water‐cored double‐network (DN) hydrogel shells are designed, formed by polyacrylamide and calcium alginate networks using triple‐emulsion templates.
