Detecting Scaling Potential in Oilfield Waters

Abstract: Production of formation water during petroleum exploitation is sometimes inevitable, necessitating disposal strategies. Produced formation water can be re-injected back into the reservoir either for enhanced oil recovery schemes or for the purpose of disposal.
