Detection and chromosomal assignment of SV40-DNA integration in Chinese hamster cell lines by chromosome sorting and dot blot hybridization

Abstract: A combination of cytometric (chromosome sorting), molecular (dot blot hybridization using radio-active and/or biotinylated DNA probes) and cytogenetic (G-banding) evaluation is described which allows the rapid identification of single copy and repetitive viral integrates and their assignment to chromosome groups or even individual chromosomes.
