Abstract:The purpose of this study to examine experimentally self-absorption correction factors (SACFs) of some algae samples using gamma-ray spectrometry. Various algae samples were collected from Boğaçay in Antalya, Turkey. Collected algae samples were dried, and masses of the samples were calculated. Then densities of the samples were calculated.
