Abstract:The paper examines the basic schemes, features and advantages of magnetic abrasive machining. In this work we provide information on working environments for magnetic abrasive machining, compositions of ferro-abrasive powders and roughness of the surfaces achieved by their application; the process of forming the working layer is also analyzed.
