Abstract: In the world, there is an increasing consumption trend from red meat to white meat, especially to the fish. Despite the known benefits of fish consumption on human health, it is still not at the desired level in Turkey. The average fish consumption is 5.58 kg per capita in Turkey, and it is below the World (14.9 kg) and the EU (16.89 kg) average fish consumption. “…Secondly, its visual appeal, thirdly its price and other factors can be stated (trust in the place that sells fish, easy cooking, promotion and tasting). It has been reported in some studies that the price of fish is the most important factor in fish consumption (Brunsø et al , 2009; Hanis et al , 2013; Almeida et al , 2015; Geslani et al , 2015; Claret et al , 2016; Abdikoğlu and Unakıtan, 2019; Dal et al , 2019; Saka and Bulut, 2020). “…Cronbach's alpha coefficient is a weighted standardized mean calculated by taking the ratio of the sum of the variances of the k items in the scale to the total variance and takes values between 0 and 1. The range of possible values of alpha coefficient and the corresponding reliability of the scale are 0.00 ≤ α < 0.40 indicates that the scale is unreliable, 0.40 ≤ α < 0.60 indicates that the scale is of low reliability, 0.60 ≤ α < 0.80 indicates that the scale is quite reliable, 0.80 ≤ α < l.00 indicates that the scale is highly reliable (Azabağaoğlu et al, 2015). Cronbach's alpha coefficient, used to explain or question the homogeneous structure of the items in the scale, is a measure of the internal consistency of the items.…”
