Determining Solutions to Challenges in the Career Transition of Students With ADHD

Abstract

This study investigated the perspectives of school teachers and parents on possible solutions for addressing challenges faced by students with ADHD during career transition. The study employed a survey design and quantitative research approach to survey a total of 56 respondents. The findings reveal that both groups hold strong and positive views on solutions, with teachers generally exhibiting more favorable perspectives than parents. Although rural respondents tend to have slightly higher mean scores than urban ones, these differences are not statistically significant. This research emphasizes the necessity of incorporating the perspectives of teachers and parents to develop proactive strategies that can aid in addressing challenges in the career transition of students with ADHD.
