Abstract:This study aimed to assess the potential of rainwater harvesting from rooftops in Jordan, recognizing its significance in mitigating water scarcity. Using the Ripple Method and Water Balance Model, data on daily rainfall rates and total rooftop area were collected and analyzed for each of Jordan’s 12 governorates to estimate the potential benefits and identify specific regions with high potential.
