Abstract:The four cystic fibrosis (CF) transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulators, ivacaftor, lumacaftor, tezacaftor, and elexacaftor, have revolutionised the treatment of CF by direct action on the protein target behind the disease’s development.
