Abstract:Abstract. We present a solver for DNS of turbulent compressible flows over arbitrary shaped geometries. The code solves the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in a generalized curvilinear coordinates system, using high-order central finite-difference schemes combined with WENO reconstruction for shock-waves treatment.
