Abstract:General primary frequency regulation (GPFR) is employed within the power system to limit frequency variation deviations from a reference value in positive and negative directions, ensuring safe power object operations and reducing the prevalence of power outages. Specific requirements outlined in normative documents must be met when carrying out GPFR procedures. However, in practice, frequency regulation is beset by a range of issues. Certain emergency disturbances induce undamped frequency fluctuations and un… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
