The objective of this study is to investigate the nucleation timing of gas hydrate molecules in oil flows. This research focuses on examining how paraffin particles impact the formation timing of hydrate deposits during the mechanical production of oil. A thorough comprehension and control over the formation of organic deposits within the wellbore can substantially mitigate equipment maintenance expenses, enhance the safety and consistency of production, and bolster the economic viability of extracting hydrocarbons. The initial segment of the paper outlines a methodology for identifying the formation depths of gas hydrates and asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) in operational oil wells through the resolution of thermobaric differential equation systems. Subsequent laboratory experiments were conducted to assess the nucleation timing of gas hydrates in the presence of paraffin. These tests were performed in a specialized high-pressure autoclave that enables the establishment of requisite thermobaric conditions. An internal agitator in the autoclave facilitates the needed dispersion within the system to emulate well flow conditions. Experimental findings revealed that paraffin particles impede the formation of gas hydrate deposits and decelerate their nucleation process. Notably, a 3% increase in paraffin concentration within the mixture was observed to prolong the nucleation timing of gas hydrates by a factor of nine. Based on the review of available literature, it is deduced that further comprehensive investigations are essential for the advancement of a temporal model governing the operational dynamics of production wells under the influence of gas hydrate and ARPD formation.

This article presents the results of engine and laboratory tests with fuel before and after treatment with a heavy particle generator. The results of the research have shown that in the course of conducted research the impact of heavy particle generator on fuel during engine tests leads to an increase in its detonation resistance and a reduction in fuel consumption (up to 15%), as well as significantly improves the environmental performance of the engine. The reduction in concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) from 0.09% to 0.03%, carbon dioxide -by 6% and nitrogen oxides -by 7%. The results of research of hydrocarbon composition of fuels by GC-MS method have shown that the impact of heavy particles generator have a favorable effect on the octane number of gasoline, as well as low-temperature properties of diesel fuel. The change of engine operation parameters after the impact of heavy particles generator is established. The change can occur as a result of complex influence on fuel and engine systems, and as a result of influence on a single factor, which is the root cause of the subsequent change of parameters.

This paper presents an investigation on changes in viscosity and group composition of heavy oil samples after ultrasonic upgrading process. Heavy oil samples correspond to different oilfields (located in Russia) were processed under various ultrasonic mode, the cavitation consequence of which was controlled by acoustic method. The viscosity of samples was measured just after ultrasonic treatment, 10 minutes, and 1-34 days. The saturate, aromatic, resin and asphaltene (SARA) analysis was carried out after ultrasonic treatment with 34 days of relaxation and the achieved results were compared with the SARA fractions of original crude oil. The results of viscosity measurement showed viscosity reduction after the ultrasonic treatment. However, the viscosity was regressed after 1-4 days of relaxation with further reduction in 7 days. The degree of viscosity increase after 34 days was only 10% in contrast to viscosity of original crude oil. The power and the sonication time did not influence the relaxation process. In conclusion, attention was drawn to the results of SARA analysis, the content of saturates decreased and the relative content of heavy fragments such as resins and asphaltenes was increased, which determines the degree of viscosity increase after relaxation period.
