In order to replace the rapid inspection method on visual observation by the instrumentation, the damage classification with the performance curve derived from the measured accelerations is proposed. There are two damage classification methods, which are for the conventional damage classification method and the method for earthquake insurance. In order to verify the validity of the proposed classification method with sensors, a 3-story full-scale R/C specimen was shaken on the E-Defense to confirm the validity of the proposed method. The result said that the evaluated damage classes according to the three methods agreed well reasonably.
