Development of a New Method of Realtime Residual Seismic Capacity Evaluation of Existing Structures With Accelerometers

Abstract: This paper shows a new method of the double integral with Wavelet Transformation to compute the capacity curve of Multi-degree of freedom system. The response displacement of the building is derived from the measured acceleration. It enables us to judge the damage of the building quickly soon after the earthquake. The validity of the method is also discussed through the past shaking test of R/C structure.
