Development of a Numerical Simulation Methodology for PCM-Air Heat Exchangers Used in Decentralised Façade Ventilation Units

Abstract: This paper presents the development of a methodology for using simulation to test decentralised façade ventilation systems with PCM exchangers and its validation with experimental data. Two approaches were compared to simulate the operation of an exchanger filled with phase-change material.
