Development of an experimental facility for cooling circulated water of industrial plants

Abstract: The article discusses the installation and the hydrodynamic results analysis of three-phase fluidized bed experimental studies. An energy coefficient linear dependence of the circulating water evaporative cooler of the considered type on the irrigation coefficient has been experimentally established. The dependence of the fraction of circulating water evaporated moisture in an evaporative cooler of the type under consideration on the cooled water temperature at the inlet to the cooler and the irrigation coeffi… Show more

“…The temperature of the cooled water was maintained at 23 Β°S using an electric heater. This condition was adopted according to the experiments carried out in the summer of 2018 [9]. Experiments have established that in order to ensure normal comfort indoors, the maximum temperature of the coolant should not exceed 23Γ·24 Β°S.…”

“…When calculating the air conditioning system, it is interesting to determine the final temperature of the refrigerant flowing down the inclined plane, depending on various factors. At the same time, the calculated data are: the cold demand of the house (Q0), the length (l) and width (a) of the roof, other factors (temperatures, wind speed, relative humidity, and so on) can be characterized by meteorological indicators [8][9][10].…”

“…The temperature of the cooled water was maintained at 23 ℃ using an electric heater. This condition was adopted according to the experiments carried out in the summer of 2018 [7]. Experiments have established that in order to ensure normal comfort indoors, the maximum temperature of the coolant should not exceed 23Γ·24℃.The temperature distribution of the flowing water along the length was measured with thermometers.…”

“…Instead of potentials, moisture content and partial pressure are usually used when calculating the moisture flow in air. Then equations ( 5) take the following form π‘žπ‘ž = 𝛼𝛼 𝑑𝑑 β€’ (𝑑𝑑 𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠 βˆ’ 𝑑𝑑) and 𝑗𝑗 = 𝛼𝛼 𝑝𝑝 β€’ (𝑝𝑝 𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠𝑠 βˆ’ 𝑝𝑝), (6) Dimensional quantities 𝛼𝛼 𝑑𝑑 , 𝛼𝛼 πœƒπœƒ , 𝛼𝛼 𝑑𝑑 , 𝛼𝛼 𝑝𝑝 are called heat transfer and mass transfer coefficients and take into account possible differences in real processes in their onedimensional formulation. These coefficients are connected by complex dependences with real processes occurring in a three-dimensional flow.…”
