Development of digital technologies for the systems of remote mining safety monitoring

Abstract: The article is devoted to development of methodology and digital technologies for assessing, forecasting and determining scenarios of geomechanical process evolution. A new digital technology is proposed for remote mining safety monitoring, which integrates a network personnel management system and expert subsystems for decision-making support taking into account geomechanical factors presenting risk of the mine roadway stability loss. Elements of the expert subsystems analyze data in real time, and are used t… Show more

“…In research, it is used for assessing the forecast indicators of the rock massif stress-strain state and possible scenarios of mine roadway stability loss. The analysis and evaluation of the parameters were carried out on the developed information system GEO-RS © [4][5][6][7][8]. The reliability and validity of the results is confirmed by the completeness and correctness of the source data, using proven methods of mathematical modeling of geomechanical processes.…”

“…The calculations of the stress-strain state were carried out using the finite element method on a computer complex developed at IGTM NASU [3,7,8,23]. Stable elastoplastic solutions, taking into account residual strength, are usually achieved in 10-100 iterative cycles.…”

“…In order to prevent emergency situations in mine roadways, it is necessary to maintain them in an equilibrium state [25][26][27]. In steady and quasi-steady modes of operation, it is possible to reduce the risks of system destruction, since these modes make the system to rest or move along the intended trajectory.…”

“…Today, various technical means are available for the implementation of control systems that use the methods and algorithms of intelligent systems. Control systems containing neural networks, elements of evolutionary models and fuzzy controllers based on fuzzy logic methods are being developed and implemented [4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. The term "fuzzy logic" was proposed by Lotfi Askar Zadeh in his theory of fuzzy sets [4,11].…”
