Development of MAS - a system for pin-pointed muscle force control using a power-assisting device

Abstract: This paper proposes a system MAS (Muscle Assistant System), which controls designated muscle forces by controlling a power-assisting device. MAS estimates muscle force based on posture measured by a motion capture system. The feasibility of the muscle force control for an object muscle is checked based on constrained optimization problem.
