Development of vehicle speed forecasting method for intelligent highway transport system

Abstract: 6 tation. A very important element of ITS is the means of forecasting the vehicle speed. It is known that it depends on road and transport conditions, aside from a subjective factor. Road conditions are usually defined, and information about them is available over at least one transport cycle. For example, through online service the driver can build the shortest route between the specified points on desired roads, quickly learn about technical conditions of roads, weather, route parameters. Based on this, it i… Show more

“…The reported results of the cited study show the prospects of using the proposed modification of the ant algorithm to solve routing problems, in particular, for TN characterized by high dimensionality and dynamism of functional parameters. That can be solved by devising a decision support system for managing freight traffic in transport networks, which is based on the use of modern information technology tools [9].…”

“…In this article, we introduce a mathematical programming algorithm designed for addressing the universal transport problem [5,6]. This algorithm aids in resolving the challenge of efficiently transporting products from suppliers to customers, elucidating each step involved in the solving process [7]. The focus of our study involves contrasting the conventional one-stage [8] transport problem with the practical scenario commonly encountered in real-world situations.…”
