Development of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) Dictionary and Checklist for Safety Planning of Tunnel Construction

Abstract: Indonesia develops tunnel technology due to country’s contours and geological conditions that are rich in minerals, and to overcome congestion problems in big cities. Tunnel is one of the alternative transportation infrastructure in the future that allows to shorten the travel time. Tunnel construction itself is a complex type of construction and requires high managerial and technical capabilities in the process. Therefore, an excellent and detailed planning is needed for each tunnel project, for example by us… Show more

“…Based on the literature methodology and on-the-spot interview, 27 potential factors afecting the fragility of submarine tunnel shield construction are extracted. Referring to the subsystem classifcation of project management theory, the fragility factors of submarine tunnel shield construction are divided into 4 dimensions (F i , i 1, 2, 3, 4): target system fragility (F 1 ), object system fragility (F 2 ), organization system fragility (F 3 ), and behavior system fragility (F 4 ) [30]. Moreover, each dimension corresponds to diferent fragility factors (F i.j ), as shown in Table 3.…”
