Diabetic foot ulcers, a comprehensive approach – Review

Abstract: Diabetic foot ulcer represents a very severe complication of diabetes mellitus, often requiring foot amputation, leading to morbidity and higher mortality rates. Around one in six diabetic patients develops foot ulcers over their lifetime.
