Abstract:Diagnosing Hirschsprung disease (HD) and related disorders can be complex and demands a deep understanding of the mechanisms governing intestinal motility, which involves the enteric nervous system (ENS), interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs), and the muscle layers of the intestine.
